Interphex Japan 2017

With so much globe-trotting here at Marden Edwards, we almost forgot to mention the successful Interphex Japan 2017 exhibition that took place last month at the Tokyo Big Sight (Tokyo International Exhibition Centre), from June 27 to 29, 2017.

Impressive Show Attendance

This year saw the 31^st annual Interphex Japan exhibition open its door to over 1300 exhibitors, and some 48K+ visitors… it is no wonder the show is said to be one of the world’s leading B to B trade events for the Pharmaceutical R&D and Manufacturing industry. Not only does the event attract prospective buyers, but with all the keynote sessions available for registrants to attend, it’s the ideal location to hear about the latest technologies and research in the pharmaceutical, biopharma, and medical industries.

Trade Partners, Nippon Hoso-Kikai Co. Ltd.,

Though none of the Marden Edwards team were present at the event, our trade partner, Nippon Hoso-Kikai Co. Ltd., exhibited and were impressed with the amount of foot traffic they received at this busy pharma focused show.

B-Series Overwrapper

With the Nippon Hoso-Kikai team showcasing our B-series overwrapping machine on the stand, they ran frequent one-on-one demonstrations of the machine wrapping product cartons at up to 60 per minute. The b-series is a fully-automatic base seal ovewrapper with features that include quick release change part tooling, side loading film spindle, and operator diagnostic control panel. Clearly verstility and perfomance speak volumes as the machine created much interest resulting in leads that are currently being followed-up on.

So, we’d just like to thank all those at Interphex who dropped by the stand and showed interest in the B-series machine, and a heart-felt thank you to the entire Nippon Hoso-Kikai team who worked so hard to make the event a success.
