Fachpack 2010 has come to an end for another year in Germany.
Post date: 07 October 2010
Germany is currently in the wave of economic recovery, so arguably Fachpack 2010 couldn’t have come at a better time, or could it?
With just over 1,351 exhibitors present, an increase on 2009, this proved the notion of economic recovery. Exhibitors were keen to capitalise on this opportunity to increase brand awareness and meet with current and potential new customers, which is more so crucial in times of adversity or recovery.
Although commitment at exhibitor level was notable, reports indicated low visitor attendance levels for days 1 and 3, although day 2 proved much more prosperous.
Kopp Director Götz Goller commented “Days 1 and 3 were not as good as we expected but on day 2 we gained many new contacts and are currently in the process of following them up. This was still worthwhile for us, as logistically it was ideal and was able to arrange and execute at very little cost, we will still look to exhibit again next time”.
The Marden Edwards BX100 model drew much attention, overwrapping ‘Bahlsen Biscuit Cartons’ at speeds of up to 30 cartons per minute, with consistently outstanding results. This resulted in further enquiries made for the Marden Edwards machine, which we are currently in the process of following up.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank, not only the visitors for taking time out to see us, but also ‘Willi Kopp e.K. Verpackungssysteme‘ for giving us the opportunity to present our BX100 overwrapping machine on their stand.
Marden Edwards next exhibition is at Agroprodmash, in Russia, where you can expect to see the latest Marden Edwards Evo Fold machine overwrapping Marden Edwards playing cards.
Full pre show review will be on the blog next Monday 11th October.
