We're attending not one, but two major packaging industry exhibitions in September. Both taking place on the same day but in different parts of the world! As you already know, we'll be at PPMA 2018 in Birmingham, and the second trade show that's not to be missed if you are in Germany, or work within the German market, is Fachpack 2018. Here we'll be joining our German trade partner, Willi Kopp e.K. Verpackungssysteme on their stand, so please drop by to say hello.

More about FachPack

This show covers products, materials and technologies in the following areas: from food and beverage, chemicals and cosmetics, and consumer goods, to pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, and automotive. Over the years, since starting in 1979 the exhibition has gone from strength to strength. In those early days one would expect to see approximately 80 exhibitors and perhaps 2000 visitors! Things have changed and FachPack is seen as one of the leading trade fairs in Europe. At last count, in 2016, the event attracted over 1500 exhibitors and an impressive 41,000 visitors, and this year the event will be utilising 12 exhibition halls, so attending the show as an exhibitor is not to be sniffed at as a steady stream of visitors search out the newest and most efficient innovations within the packaging and processing world.

Who will be attending:

Many of you already know Tony Strutt, our area sales manager, and if not, be sure to pop along to the Kopp/Marden Edwards Booth at FachPack to introduce yourself. Tony has much experience with the Marden Edwards range of overwrapping and packaging machines and will be happy to answer any questions you may have as well as help you make an informed decision about the best piece of Marden Edwards machinery for packaging your products.

What will be happening at the event:

We'll be showcasing our BX Series Overwrapper and running regular demonstrations of the machine in action, wrapping cosmetics cartons. If you'd like to confirm a demonstration slot then please contact us in advance via our contact form to schedule a time, or just turn up at the booth and we'll be sure to fit you into the schedule.
