Arrivederci For Now!

Not even an erupting volcano and air travel chaos was going to keep Marden Edwards away from exhibiting at our first ever Cosmopack, which took place on 15th - 18th April in Bologna, Italy, and neither did it deter the visitors.

Within the packaging industry, the cosmetic sector demands a high level of manufacturing and service standards. Marden Edwards, in partnership with Kopp Verpackungssysteme, certainly met those expectations, indicated by the amount of key new contacts made.

Marden Edwards Sales Manager for the Italian region, Tony Strutt, commented.

"It was apparent the European economy is on the upturn, there were many serious buyers and we had much interest in our fully flexible non-change part Semi-Auto machines. This is certainly the show to be at when looking to further penetrate the cosmetics and Italian market and I very much look forward to being at the next Cosmopack in Italy".

Marden Edwards were demonstrating the overwrapping of Givenchy cosmetic cartons along with our own Marden Edwards stock cartons on the TM-Series machine, with cosmetic quality overwrapping speeds of up to 60 packs per minute.

This show was certainly a success for Marden Edwards and we look forward to exhibiting at the next Cosmopack in Italy.
